Words of Wisdom

I enjoy talking to a select few of my family members and a lot of my peers. I love to hear their words of wisdom of all people my older brother Kelvin Rice is the person I talk most when it comes to words of wisdom. He always know what to say, when to say it and the right time to say it. I've always tried to figure it out but I never could and I realized what he did. Growing up with my uncles there were only a few wise one. When you're a child and your parents are telling you stories you sit and listen, you don't ask a whole bunch of questions and that's what he did it's also what I did but I didn't realize it at the time. He was older more mature so he understood what the inner meaning of what they were staying when they told their stories. I always thought they were just interesting stories so I sat and listened. I got the chance to go eat , hang out, and catch up with one of my uncles and he told me how my cousin's and I are in common staying on top of our work. He told me how he wished he did that when he was still in school but, he taught me a technique in learning. The grandpa stance when grandpas sit there with their arms folded and LISTEN. Just like we use to do when we were younger it helps a lot if you just sit and listen to your professor you have a question but someone asks it for you. Every now and then I like to share some words of wisdom with my siblings and hope they listen just like I did when I was their age. Some words of wisdom aren't meant to be said out loud like now on a blog or just anywhere in public, it's kind of like one of those what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas type deals. I miss hearing those words of wisdom everyday especially now when I need them the most but, I guess it's just my chance to come up with some words of wisdom on my own like now I've been feeling down because of my grades and my injuries I have felt like giving up school, sports, everything but, I have hope I just have to pick myself up out of the gutter and fight my way to the top.
